Let’s talk about sex It seems like guys expect it,…
Sadly, that’ll happen, but I’ve noticed that there’s often a pretty distinct subset of the gay population that’s less sex-crazed; it’s just sometimes harder to find them because they tend to connect with people in a less sexuality-specific way.
I agree with you, not all gay guys are sex crazed, but it seems like a lot of them especially in my area are. It’s downright impossible to find a guy here that just wants to have coffee. They usually want some nookie afterwords. I don’t even understand why some guys think they’re owed sex on a date. If I paid for my meal and you paid for yours then we owe each other nothing lol. It’s not like you paid for my dinnner and I pay you in return with sex. Not my type of relationship at all. I’m glad that I’m not alone in discovering this, it makes me feel better :)
allabitfuzzy replied to your post: So my sister found out that im gay…
Aw - thats never easy, but often the case w/ siblings; my sisters forced the issue, too. It was ultimately for the better even though it was similarly awkward at first
It isn’t easy :/.Oh I agree with you, it will be better for sure but right now things are just weird. They’ll get better i’m sure :).
allabitfuzzy asked: TMIs are coming early this week so I can make sure you all get them. I'm on top of this! What's the best Halloween costume you've ever worn? Can you think of a moment when you decided/did something that probably changed your life completely? What was it and how do you think things would be different if you'd chosen an alternative? If you have to pack a lunch for work/school/similar, what do you prefer to pack?
Sorry I didn’t answer this for a while…yet again.
The best Halloween costume I ever wore would probably have to be when I dressed up as Obi-Wan Kenobi. I had a lightsaber, semi tights on, and a top that had a pleated skirt thing for me to twirl in. How could any gay child resit it. I am trying to think of one of those moments…probably when one of my friends told me to start a blog. When she said that I got on tumblr and stopped annoying everyone on twitter and facebook. If she wouldn’t have said that then I may have not found tumblr. I think if I wouldn’t have found it, I would’ve been in a worse place than now. I already have lost a ton of friends due to my past rantings on facebook and if I continued doing that I am sure I would’ve lost everyone. I usually pack a turkey sandwich and some chips for school although a cliff bar always works too :).
allabitfuzzy asked: Much delayed TMI: Which do you consider to be the more appealing primary living environment: urban, suburban, or rural? Why? How far do you commute for work or school/class? How far is too far? Do you think you'd like to travel for work regularly?
Hai :3.
I like suburban because it’s not in the city but it’s nearby. I’ve never lived in the city but people annoy the shit out of me. Being in a close proximity to people and them being all up in my space is not cute. I need my space haha. I think living 15 to 10 minutes away from the city is ideal but 20 minutes or 25 isn’t bad either. I unfortunately live an hour and a half away from Portland which sucks! I love Portland! If I got a job in Portland I would probably live in the city and just accept it. I think I could travel for work regularly but not driving. I absolutely hate driving long distances. Going to my sisters wedding in california and sitting in the car for 9 hours was so painful! Won’t be doing that again for a while…
So yeah I hope I answered your question lol.
allabitfuzzy replied to your post: What scares you more than anything? Do you dwell on it frequently, or is it just something that gets to you occasionally? What scares you that probably shouldnt? When youre afraid, what do you do to give yourself courage? Given that most Halloween related fear tactics are based on instinctive self-preservation in the face of a threat, what do you think of scare/thrill-seeking in terms of contradiction of evolutionary needs?
You shouldnt panic about driving because that makes it more dangerous, but, frankly, people arent terrified enough of the multi-ton death machines that are their cars (and others). A little fear can keep you safe, buddy :-)
I think about that all the time haha. I guess I just think about the odds of dying when I think about driving. Haha that is true, it’s always good to have a little fear. I think i’m also afraid of independence. I’ve become so dependent on my family that I use them as a crutch. I’m 20 years old living with my family, with no license, and 3 years of community college under my belt. I really haven’t changed at all from high school to now :/

Probably dying and my family having to deal with it. I hate thinking about it because I know they love me and it would crush them if I died. I dwell on it sometimes but not usually. Driving scares me a lot. I know I shouldn’t be afraid of it but it’s been a year since my driving classes and I haven’t drove a car since because i’m afraid. I try to cope with reality by saying “it’s okay it’s just all in your head. you aren’t being rational, let it go”. Doesn’t usually work haha. Um i’m not really sure to be honest about that. I don’t really have an opinion on the subject
allabitfuzzy asked: Arbitrary "hands-on" edition: 1) When was the last time you fixed something, and what was it? 2) When was the last time you built something, and what was it? 3) What's your best skill with your hands, and what do you think is the best one to have in general? 4) What's the most complex idea you think you could communicate with nothing but gestures? (by all means demonstrate) 5) What's something you don't think can be communicated effectively via gestures? (Excluding sign-language for 5)
Sorry for answering your questions so late, i’ve been really busy with school.
1. I am not very handy so I can’t tell you the last time i’ve fixed something haha.
2. I haven’t build anything either. Last time I built something was in 7th grade. It was a bridge made of toothpicks for my math class.
3. ummm xD my best skill with my hands? can’t say that i have real skill with my hands except for feeling certain things.
4. Hmmm probably to take me to the mall. I’m horrible at charades and sign language.
5. I’m going to guess trying to find a train station (monty python reference? :P)
allabitfuzzy asked: Tumblr brings together a lot people with similar tastes and interests, and in many cases, they become friends. How important do you think a shared aesthetic is to a friendship or relationship? How much do you think it matters that you have similar interests? Have you ever had a fight with a friend or loved on over difference in opinion about aesthetics or your interests? Would you say that such differences are objectively irrelevant, or are the social implications significant?
That’s a difficult question because I tend to cling or gravitate toward people who have similar interests and tastes as myself, but if I limit myself to people with similar tastes and interests I will be missing out on a lot of possible friendships. I think that people tend to make friends by finding one similar thing in common and running with it; we do it in school/college all of the time. A lot of us in the classroom might have similar interests but we won’t know it most of the time because we will usually get to know those sitting near us. Usually you can talk to those around you about the class and the homework and that would be considered an acquaintance. If you’re laughing with them or if you find more similar things in common then you can make them your friends. I’m a very shy person so I rarely talk to anyone because i’m either afraid of saying the wrong thing or that they already don’t like me. I want to tell you that just because you have similar interests with a person that does not mean that they will automatically be your friend. There are a lot of people on here that I have similar interests with but I doubt that they would ever talk to me or hang out with me in person. We’re friends on tumblr but if we go to a different website that could very much change. If you talk to someone on skype to continue to get to know them, you could be sorely disappointed. I’ve met some lovely people on here and skype but i’ve also met some people who appeared to be nice on tumblr but were selfish assholes on skype. So my point is yes I would prefer to hang around people with similar interests with me but it isn’t necessary. I’ve gotten in plenty of fights with people with and without similar interests and most of them ended up ruining the relationship. I think that differences are seen differently to most everyone. What I may think is normal may be freakish to some, and what I find gross others may love. We all chose what is acceptable and not acceptable.
I am sorry that this answer was so spoty. :(
